The wedding of Stuart and Kristen.
Finally have time to do a few blog posts on recent weddings, and really wanted to start with this epic wedding in January at Tutukaka Lighthouse lookout. The changeable weather forecast for the day was a little bit of a concern for the couple, but delivered moody skies and epic clouds along with humid temperatures. As I set off from my home in Whangarei Heads, the rain started and became heavy, and I was glad for my waterproof covers for the gear, but as I got closer to Tutukaka and I could see the Lighthouse, the rain stopped, and the steam started to rise from the roads and the dramatic coastline revealed itself with crashing waves against ancient rocks and coastal birds dancing in the winds... It was simply breathtaking.....what a place for a couple to exchange their vows......... And what an afternoon we all had.....
