Heading down to New Plymouth and enjoying the stunning coastal views as you get closer to the city, its such a delight, watching the waves crash in along the shore line as you anticipate with excitement the first glance of Mount Taranaki (Māori: Taranaki Maunga) Also known as Mount Egmont, Taranaki where the Mountain meets the sea is indeed a fitting description...you can ski or snowboard one day and be in surf the next, with a vibrant land and city between ..its no wonder people have been settling here for its diverse landscapes and everything it has to offer.... I was fortunate enough to be asked to be part of Joe and Abby's wedding day at Ahu Ahu beach villas, a stunning coastal venue with views out to sea and the most breathtaking sunsets.... you just cant beat the west coast for sunsets and boy did mother nature put on a show for us.....
